The “79-ers” (a golf society drawn mainly from Chesham 1879 club members) has won Chesham & District Golf League played at Ley Hill Golf Club. There were eight teams in the contest played over the last three months, and the “79-ers” beat the team from E.H.Smith of Bovingdon in the final on Wednesday 18th July. Chesham 1879's Tamara Ferguson has been awarded as LTA Regional Volunteer of the Year! Tamara received her award alongside the other LTA winners during the Fever Tree Tournament at Queen's Club Tournament at the beginning of June.
