Appointment of New Head Tennis Coach at Chesham 1879
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Brooks as Chesham 1879’s new Head Tennis Coach. Nick has been appointed to help the club to expand its membership, develop a more comprehensive tennis programme, and improve all aspects of junior and adult tennis participation. We see this appointment as an important step for Chesham 1879 and very much look forward to working with him.
Challenge Tennis will continue to provide the coaching for the Club’s juniors (Mini-Tots (age 3-4) Tennis Red (Age 8 and Under), Orange (Age 8 to 9) and Green (Age 9 to 10)) through to mid-December. From January, Nick will provide not only a comprehensive coaching programme for juniors but also a wide range of adult sessions (including rusty rackets, team training, open club sessions and bespoke group and individual lessons).
Nick is an LTA Level 4 Senior Performance Coach and has many years’ experience at the Berkhamsted Elite Tennis Academy latterly as the Head Academy Coach.
We will be organising evenings (and taster sessions) where you can meet Nick and join us in welcoming him and his family to Chesham 1879.
